GMHC Presents Fashion Forward November 1, 2007 A Celebration of Style in the Fight Against AIDS Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) will present FASHION FORWARD, a spectacular celebration of fashion and style on Thursday, November 1 from 7-10 PM. It will be hosted by Tim Gunn, of “Project Runway” and “Tim Gunn’s Guide To Style,” both on Bravo. Fashion Forward kicks off at the Altman Building, at 135 West 18th Street, in Manhattan. Fashion Forward celebrates the fashion industry’s commitment to fighting HIV and AIDS, and their support of GMHC for over two decades. The evening will include a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, and a runway show with selections of men’s and women’s fashions from the Spring/Summer 2008 collections of celebrated designers including Andrew Buckler, Heatherette, John Bartlett, Perry Ellis, Peter Som, and rag & bone. Ford Models, Q Model Management, and Major Models Management will provide some of today’s hottest runway models, including Chad White and Fatou, who appear in the Fashion Forward promotional spot. “Fashion has always been about stepping out, being in front of the crowd and making bold statements,” said Marjorie J. Chad White is not placed in the Olympus of fashion thanks to Dolce & Gabanna, but the mythic and fantastic special issue dedicated to the city of Los Angeles, who made Steven Klein for L'Uomo Vogue. Chad showed his anatomy in a stunning photo essay of more than 40 pages, inspired by the movie "The Swimmer" (1968, Frank Perry), together with various personalities of the Californian capital, such as Marilyn Manson, Dita Von Teese, Alana Stewart, Elias Koteas and Gore Vidal.

Natural Oregon (USA), Chad White can be proud of having entered the world of top male models. Enjoys baseball, one day a scout saw him and New York working as a model he proposed. After accepting the offer, went to live in New York, where he quickly caught the attention of the big fashion. His weapons: a very masculine face, plump lips and a very muscular body, oblivious to the languid look of some fellow catwalk. He soon began to file and, curiously, most of the designers saw in him the perfect man to show off their creations swimwear.

In May 2006, he appeared on the cover of the Italian magazine L'Uomo Vogue photographed by renowned photographer Steven Klein. On the inside pages, Chad showed his anatomy in a stunning photo essay of more than 40 pages, inspired by the movie The swimmer (1968, Frank Perry).

The significance of these images, which did not hesitate to bare her body, was so incredible that his name soon became common from the main capitals of fashion and began to be considered as one of the models of the moment.

Then the final push to win it gave the designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana that became the image of the campaigns for spring-summer 2006 lines D & G, D & G jewelry ... and so renew the image of cruise collection for Dolce & Gabbana winter of 2006/2007. In addition, he began to march in major fashion capitals.

In December 2006, Chad was chosen as 'best model' of 2006 in a vote conducted among Internet users hola.com. Title in the women's section won the Canadian Tasha Tilberg.

Chad White had his first OhLaLa entry back in May 2006, for the bebe ad campaign photographed by Steven Klein. The same month he collaborated a second time with him for a fantastic spread in L'Uomo Vogue. More recently he was window cruising for Dolce & Gabbana, became the body for D&G jewels, and right now Chad is in Milan where he took part in the winter 2008 global warming ... and took some time to answer to our questions.
